The auction house Dorotheum is commemorating this year’s 100th anniversary of Franz Kafka’s death with an intimate exhibition in its representative premises at The Forum on Wenceslas Square, where Kafka had his first job at the Italian insurance company Assicurazioni Generali. Curated by Anna Habánová, the exhibition presents works from Czech private collections as examples of the visual plurality of the first decades of the twentieth century and as representatives of the artistic, multicultural, and multiethnic environment of Kafka’s Prague.
