Lenka Glisníková (*1990) is one of the key emerging figures of the Czech post-photographic scene. She is a laureate of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award (2023) and a two-time winner of the Czech Grand Design Award in the category Photographer of the Year (2020 and 2023), which she won together with Karolína Matuška as the duo Shotbyus. Her work is grounded in a research-based artistic practice that systematically challenges the ontological boundaries of photography. She deconstructs the flatness of the photographic medium and digitally manipulates photographic images, transforming them into spatial objects and installations. Her project Sunken Streams for Galerie NoD is loosely inspired by perspectives of eco-futurist thinking and sci-fi imaginations. The exhibition presents a speculative meditation on the nature of time, material transformation, and the epistemological limits of anthropocentric knowledge.
