The exhibition project of Stanislav Zábrodský and Belgian artist Tom Hallet is another continuation of the curatorial concept of the gallery Holešovická šachta, which connects Czech-based and international artists in artistic collaboration. Tom Hallet is an artist, sculptor, and storyteller living and working in Brussels. He creates poetic installations in which he interweaves mythologies, personal histories, and literature to explore the ways in which we construct our own stories. Stanislav Zábrodský is a Prague-based artist who creates works on the border between object and installation. In his ceramic or concrete objects, he reflects on the possibilities of materials accumulating or simulating complex geological processes, which in turn subvert our established ways of perceiving time. Through drawings, hanging objects, and site-specific installations, the exhibition at Holešovická šachta becomes its own lyrical speculation on frozen time and the ambiguity of narration.
