A solitary traveler, whose head has been transformed into a cosmic body, moves between past, present, and imagined futures. Drawing on the sublime tradition of Romanticism as well as Impressionist and Pointillist sensibilities, Houdek translates these<br \/>\ninfluences into his distinctive painterly language. Third Landscape unfolds as a space between reality and imagination, finitude and infinity.<\/p>\n<p>HYB4 Art Studios host Hong Kong artists Jive Lau Ho-Fai and Mari Liew Yu-Lin in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong and Macao. While Jive Lau Ho-Fai\u2019s practice focuses on Hong Kong\u2019s traditional neon craftsmanship, Mari Liew Yu-Lin works primarily with drawing and watercolor. During their residency, both artists will develop new projects inspired by Prague and in dialogue with the local art scene.
