LINDA PROCHÁZKA: LIGHTNESS OF BEING

Designer Linda Procházka, who prepared the first original products under the Kvalitář Gallery brand, will present her first solo exhibition. The exhibition Lightness of Being will consist mainly of light objects and a site-specific installation. One of the objects will be a portable glass table lamp which uses specially treated liquids that glow with a specific color when illuminated. The author will complement the exhibition with the work Birth of Light, a hanging/table lamp made from metallurgical hand-cut glass. The work was nominated for the Stanislav Libeňský award and the student award Designblok – Diploma Selection.
