Participation

PRAGUE ART WEEK is the largest event in which divers contemporary art entities in Prague collaborate. Founded in 2022 with by Artantiquesmedia publishing house and with the support of six main programme partners. Today the festival connects 40 partners and in cooperation with them presents over 100 events across the city each year.

The group of participants in the festival, strengthening the city’s position as a meeting point for (inter)national artists, art lovers, professionals and collectors, is expanding each year with new galleries and project spaces from Prague, the Czech Republic and abroad. The result is a diverse group of participants that speaks of the quality and wide diversity of the Central and East European art scene. Join the Prague Art Week 24 programme

Do you want to join the programme of Prague Art Week 2024? Submissions are open to entities that are permanently active in the field of contemporary art.

Who is appropriate to join the festival?

State institutions – galleries, museums, academies and schools in the city of Prague

Private institutions, schools and centres for contemporary art

Private art collections

Private galleries

Project spaces – non-profit galleries and offspaces

Art studios with a minimum of 4 art studios

You have to fulfil the following conditions:

You have an exhibition space in Prague and coordinate your location’s opening hours with the festival program.

You will prepare an exhibition or other event dedicated to the fine arts in your location and provide the organizers with supporting documents on time.

Provide free entry to visitors on (selected) festival days.

Abroad and out of Prague venues, have the option to rent space from a third party or in cooperation with PAW.

Procedure for submitting the application for the programe:

The deadline for applications is 30 May 2024.Please send your application with a description of your exhibition plans for Prague Art Week 24 and a profile of your subject to [email protected].

The organizers will evaluate the artistic qualities of your exhibition plan and the track record of your organization. The number of participating institutions is limited.

Profit entities pay for listing in the festival programe. We will send you the PAW24 Listing or the year-long Art Family PAW24 program upon request. Email us at [email protected], or [email protected].
