ELIŠKA KONEČNÁ: THIRST

Eliška Konečná (*1992) lives and works in Prague. She is a graduate of Painting Studio 1 at the Academy of Fine Arts. Her solo exhibition is accompanied by a text by Caroline Krzyszton. “Eliška Konečná’s works are an ode to sensuality. Bare, timeless, universal sensuality. Her characters, such as antique gods, often give in to temptation, leading them to unavoidable mistakes. Their bodies exist both as the manifestation of their desire and the vessel of their punishment. (…)” The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the gallery eastcontemporary from Milan, Italy.
