Jiří Pitrmuc (*1993) graduated from Academy of Fine Arts Prague in the year 2020. He works primarily with painting and drawing. Metaphorically he takes on the role of a clown or an astonished child in order to describe how politics, work, or living conditions shape our lives. His works look playful and carefree, however they contain a feeling of uncertainty and fear beneath the surface. He has had solo exhibitions at GMU Hradec Králové and the Center for Contemporary Arts Prague.
