Knížák Island – an island ecosystem where, due to its isolation, a remarkable evolution of local life is taking place and the difference from the surrounding mainland is quite noticeable. In this comparison it is possible to see a parallel with the development of the personality and work of the Czech artist Milan Knížák, who built an extraordinary and complex work addressing everything that is important for the culture and ethics of man.
