The exhibition Between Worlds connects realms that may appear distant yet in fact share a profound historical and symbolic foundation—ceramics and alchemy. The project presents works by the Italian duo Bertozzi & Casoni and artists Carolein Smit and Bouke de Vries, whose practices reveal ceramics as a medium capable of engaging mythological, folkloric, and contemporary themes. The exhibition opens up a space for reflection on how historical notions of the transformation of matter are translated into contemporary art and how ceramics continues to function as a material carrying symbolic, experimental, and spiritual dimensions.
