DO YOU REMEMBER ME? YOU ARE THE ONE, WHO STEALS FOAM AND KEEPS IT IN THEIR POCKETS. BUT ALL THE FOAM TURNED INTO GLUE. IT DOESN’T MATTER, ANYWAY.

The 2022’s exhibition cycle at Jedna Dva Tři Gallery is a loose continuation of the previous year’s narrative group show series ‘Where the Sun Sets and Where It Rises’ seeking inner peace within the current chaos we live in. This year’s program is about the relationships between an individual and the society – it’s about the expectations from one another, norms and their destruction, and individuality within collective experience. The exhibition ‘You are the one who steals foam and keeps it in their pockets.’ is a poetic try to understand the complicated relationship with ourselves, others, and abstract ideologies forcing us to reach norms we don’t want to or simply cannot live with.
