25. 9. 2026, 17:30 – guided tour with the curatorThe exhibition Materia Delicata presents the work of Luboš Plný, which straddles the boundaries of drawing, collage, performance art, conceptual thinking, and scientific documentation of the body. At the core of his work are extensive anatomical drawings, often composed as maps of the human body, into which he systematically records data about his body, the time spent on the work, physiological states,
medical measurements, or personal events. His drawings are often enhanced in the style of collages by incorporating various materials—hair, textiles, threads, or organic fragments. The artist is currently revisiting his project Academic Model, which he considers his most significant work. Using the technique of collage, he recycles the project’s concept of depicting works of classical European painting in a contem-
porary setting. An educational program for schools can be booked as part of the exhibition.
Saturday, 26 September 2026, 14:00, Between the Skin and the Image
This workshop, designed for teenagers and adults, will offer a creative session inspired by the work of Luboš Plný. The program will begin with a brief introduction by the exhibition curator, who will present the artist’s work and offer insights into the themes that appear in his art. The subsequent art session will combine collage and drawing techniques. Participants will work with materials inspired by Plný’s work—reproductions of anatomical atlases, stamps, drawings, and other visual elements. The workshop will explore themes of the passage of time, the materiality of the body, identity, and self-determination by means of bodily experience. The creative process will be guided by experienced instructors, and participants will be able to choose their own approach and individual method for exploring the selected motifs.

This family art workshop inspired by Luboš Plný’s exhibition invites children and their parents to explore their own bodies together through play, drawing, and collage. Participants will work with outlines of their figures, which they will then enhance with collage elements, drawings, and other materials inspired by the artist’s work. The main theme of the workshop will be collaboration and the joint creation of a family
self-portrait that brings together the individual perspectives of each family member into a single whole. Reproductions of anatomical atlases, stamps, and other artistic elements referencing the visual world of Luboš Plný will be available. The program will also include the opportunity to create your own individual collage or drawing. The workshop is open to all age groups and does not require any prior artistic experience.
