The former NRB bank building in the city center at the address Jeruzalémské 4 was provided to PAW by the festival’s partner PSN to become an exhibition space for a period of four days. On several floors of this bank from the first decade of this century, the characteristic aesthetics of “temples of money” meet the critical reflection and interventions of Eastern European artists of the young and middle generations.

MOLSKI gallery&collection is a contemporary art gallery from Poznań, Poland, which specializes in abstract art. At the exhibition CONTEMPORARY POLISH ABSTRACTION during Prague Art Week, they have decided to show works made by seven artists from different generations who are united by the language of geometric abstraction. Their work is a conglomeration showing the directions in which contemporary abstraction may develop. The concept of abstraction is considered by each of the artists on a different level of meaning, thus showing its limitlessness. However, abstraction is not the main subject of the art they create; it is merely a means of artistic expression that allows us to understand the world through other parallel realities.
