An exhibition from the collection of Pekelné sáně, presenting a site-specific installation by Tomáš Bárta and Tomáš Roubal, which is a kind of prequel to their joint exhibition, which will follow on October 6 at the Pekelné sáně Gallery in Kroměříž. The exhibition in the unique interiors of the former bank will be complemented by an intervention by Jan Nálevka.
Tomáš Bárta (*1982) is a Czech artist best known for his paintings and drawings, which follow the tradition of modernist geometric abstraction.
Tomáš Roubal (*1982) is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava. His work deals with contemporary political events, which he explores through sculpture, painting, drawing, and original publications.
Jan Nálevka (*1976) is a Czech conceptual artist who works with the mediums of drawing, video, digital photography, installation, and object. His work is usually minimalistic and ironic.
