The final afternoon lecture will present personalities and projects that resonate across the borders of individual countries.

Julia Hartmann and Theresia Nickl, representatives of Vienna Art Week, will speak about the organization of the first ever Art Week.

A case study of patronage in the United States will be presented by Luboš Veselý from the Karel Komárek Family Foundation. Next, a representative of the Czech Centers, Sandra Karacsony, will speak about the most significant achievements of the Czech Centers around the world.

You can also look forward to a talk by Maryna Shcherbenko, gallery owner and founder of the MUHI Young Artists Award from the Shcherbenko Art Center in Kiev, who will talk about the currently crucial issue of preserving Ukrainian culture and cultural heritage, the difficulties of institutional functioning during the war, and overcoming them.

The lecture block will end with a greeting by the Minister of Culture Martin Baxa.

Jakub Jahn will guide you through the final evening and close it with a special farewell and a performative international greeting.

There will be a gastro corner with refreshments throughout the evening.

Thursday’s program is held in cooperation with the Austrian Cultural Forum in Prague.
