An Independent Space for Contemporary Art
Berlínskej Model is an independent non-commercial gallery of contemporary art based in Holešovice, Prague. Since its founding in 2011, it has created a space for Czech and international artists, especially for the young and emerging generation, as well as for established artists.
Exhibition Programme
The gallery’s character is defined by a rapidly changing exhibition programme, an emphasis on site-specific projects, and openness to overlaps with politics, ecology, music, gastronomy, and other areas of contemporary culture.
The Gallery’s Role
Berlínskej Model has long operated as an alternative to the commercial gallery scene, supporting art that responds to current social issues as well as to the specific context of its location.
